RECERTIFICATION OF AVIATION HOSE ASSEMBLIES:

Hewitt can re test (recouple if required) and re certify your aviation fueling hoses. Return your hose assemblies to Hewitt USA. 

Hewitt will inspect, retest and recertify hoses under the following conditions:

Hose must not be more than 5 years old.

Hose must have been manufactured by the following companies: Dayco, HBD/Thermoid, Goodyear, or Titan.

Hose can not have any weak spots, serious kinks, gouges, or cuts in the cover. Fittings can not have any dents, or stress areas.

Hewitt will cut and recouple acceptable hoses as per customer requirements.

Hewitt reserves the right to reject any hose, for any reason.  No exceptions.

If a hose meets the above criteria during initial inspection, Hewitt USA will recouple as needed, retest to API 1529 requirements. and recertify the hose assembly. A new certificate with serial  number will be issued.  Recertification is valid for one year.

    Hewitt's sole responsibility is the certification that the hose meets API 1529 requirements. Hewitt USA is not responsible for improper use and or  handling of hose assembly once it is returned to          service.
