Hewitt offers a complete line of aviation fueling/defueling hoses, deadman/sensing hoses, and accessories.
Unlike other hose companies, our main line of business is aviation fueling hoses. We build them every day, every week, all year long. We are specialists.
Every Hewitt aviation fueling/defueling hose is coupled and tested only by Hewitt's own trained aviation assemblers. We do not certify nor allow any other group or company to assemble our hoses. This assures you, the customer, of consistent quality and reliability of Hewitt hoses.
We apply a serial number to each and every hose manufactured. Hewitt supplies with each assembly a certificate of test and compliance with API 1529. Our hoses also meet the new EN 1361 standard as well as the old BS 3158 standard. Copies of all test certificates are archived and are available for our customers at no additional costs should they be lost or misplaced.
We maintain stock of aviation hose in sizes 3/4" through 4" ID's. Maximum individual lengths of up to 400 ft in sizes 1" to 2", 200 ft in 2-1/2 and 3", 100 ft in 4".
For one day turnaround - we stock fully tested assemblies.
50 ft assemblies - 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2", 2" and 2-1/2"
75 ft assemblies - 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2"
For our export customers, we also offer a complete line of reusable fittings in both NPT and BSP threads. Our reusable fittings have all been tested to API 1529, 5th edition burst and cycling test requirements. We are approved by Shell international for reusable fittings in all sizes.
We can supply both Overwing nozzles (Cla-val) and Underwing Nozzles (Emco Wheaton and OPW.
Deadman and sensing hose is available either as completed assemblies or in bulk hose (cut lengths or reels).
Hewitt is also pleased to offer Rain Suits designed specifically for Ground support personnel.
Trial suit offer of $ 60.00 is always available (Jacket, Pants, and Hood). You chose your size (mix and match jacket and pants size). You will not put your foot through these pants.
